It’s an exciting time with the Greetery this week as we reveal the holiday products this month from the new Christmas Time collection!
And I’m going to start it off with one of my favorite set of products from this release, the Winterberry Bouquet Stamp & Stencil. I love, love, love these stamp and stencil combination products and this one is just absolutely beautiful when completed. I decided to go for a untraditional pastel color combination for my cards today used Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Salvaged Patina, and Pine Needle distress oxides to create my floral images here.
The large ‘JOY’ is also a new product called Abundant Joy Die. It’s a two piece die so I used the same ink blended colors on the word and die cut out the halo frame with vellum. The vellum hards a beautiful soft look to the word.
The front part of the sentiment comes from the new Opposites Attract Holiday stamp set. The words are die cut out using the Opposites Attract Holiday Script. I just know this sentiment set is going to be part of my holiday cardmaking staples. I just love this set so much and you’ll definitely see me use a lot!
This next card features the Cathedral Stencil and Cathedral Die. Used the same distress oxide colors as my previous card for all the window panes, using different pairings for blending each of the layers to create variety. No masking was needed. The several layers of stencils will provide you the layout for alternating your ink blending to create variety!
I let the product itself inspire me to create a clean and simple card here. It just felt right. I die cut the Cathedral Die twice and adhered them over my ink blended piece. I trimmed it down just a 1/4″ from each side and adhered it onto a base card over foam.
The sentiment comes from the Opposites Attract Holiday stamp set and I used both the Opposites Attract Holiday the Opposites Attract Holiday Script dies to die cut the words out. I added some light splatter and a few iridescent sequins to complete the card.
The release will be available in the shop tomorrow Thursday, October 7th at 10am EDT! For more information and inspiration of the Christmas Time Collection check out the Greetery blog along with the rest of the design team linked below.
