Neat & Tangled February Release Week: Day 4

It’s the last day of release previews, which means there’s less than a day left before all products are live in the Neat & Tangled shop! Today I have a really exciting new die to share with you, the Doily Envelope. I just LOVE this die!!

The doily envelope die creates the most delicate envelope. The end result is just absolutely beautiful. I’m thinking I should use these to make envelopes for my wedding invitations cause they are so gorgeous.

The die cuts the full size of the envelope with just the top and bottom flaps. I die cut the larger piece in black. Then it comes with the side flap piece which you will die cut twice, and adhere to the main body of the envelope. Those are die cut in white. I had this black and white idea going on in my head when I saw how fancy this die was. And then it came to mind, that I just had to bring out a the Little Stinker stamp set.

I heat embossed the skunk in white at the bottom left corner of the envelope. I got the “for you” sentiment from the Into the Woods stamp set. Then, I colored the skunk with a white color pencil.  Just the simple cute touch I needed to finish this elegant envelope.

Love this die and wan’t to see more of it in action? Head on over to the Neat & Tangled blog for more details of today’s release previews and to see all the beautiful inspirations our design team has to offer with Janauary Release projects. Heya,

I got my Doily Envelope die today in the mail and had to start playing with it right away. Only mine won’t cut through the intricate design. Tried all sorts of sandwiches, but nothing really works… would you share your sandwich? I am using the Big Shot btw… Thanks so much for your help, and I love what you did with the die ! 😉
