Papertrey Ink January Release Day 3

Are you feeling lucky? Share some luck to a special recipient with the cutest stamp and die set by Lizzie called Lucky Scratch! Pair it up with some of our scratch off paper and you got a really fun interactive feature to your card as well.

My card features the main stamp set Lucky Scratch and the Lucky Scratch die set. The die cuts a large ticket, which is great on its own, or of course perfect for cardmaking as well. The whole ticket shape does fit on the A2 panel, but I decided to have it run off the card at an angle! In addition to die cutting the ticket, I also added the pierced box and die cut the ‘Lucky’ word out four times. All these pieces are part of the die set.

I blended Hawaiian Shores dye ink on the top layer of the ‘Lucky’ word, which will match the Hawaiian Shores card stock I plan to use in the background. I stamped the remaining sentiments in Canyon Clay dye ink above and below the ‘Lucky’.

Unforunately, we didn’t receive the scratch off paper in time for our projects, but I plan to add a scratch off component to the inside of the card once I have it! There I can hide a creative message that the recipient would have the scratch off to unveil.

There are several occasional stamp sets that pair with the Lucky Scratch set that can really expand the ‘lucky’ puns across even more scenarios, like wedding and baby annoucements. Wouldn’t it be fun if you sent out invitations to a baby shower, and they had to scratch to find out if it’s a girl or boy? So cute! Be sure to stop by tomorrow for more Papertrey Ink Janaury Release projects! All products from this months’ release will be available on January 15th in the Papertrey Ink store.

Brilliant card, lovely shade and amazing sentiment. You could easily slip a lotto card inside for the recipient.

This would be a wonderful birthday card, especially if you were to include a lotto ticket inside. I like your idea of putting the scratch off inside the card.
