Papertrey Ink 2018 Annivesary Set

Hey there! If you’re arriving here from the Papertrey Ink blog, then you’ve already been wow’d. We’re celebrating our 11th anniversary and in honor of that, our product designers collaborated to create the Mixed Bouquet anniversary stamp set. And oh my, they surely blew this out of the water cause it’s drop dead gorgeous!

I’m terrible with flower names, so you’ll have to excuse me if I call something wrong! Betsy’s flower reminded me of poppies, so I stamped them across my card to create a field of them. I used Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy, and Terracotta Tile dye inks. For the center, I used Cocoa Bean, and for the stems, I used Green Parakeet. Then, I added more flowers, this time Lizzie’s floral spray. Here I used Harvest Gold dye ink and again the Green Parakeet on the stems. I didn’t need to bother masking anything for this layout.

I used the Pure Poppy ink to add splatter across the field. Then, with my Broken China distress oxide ink, I added some blending for the sky. I also used it on the edges of the card, to add just a hint of color which you can see against the underlying white card base. I stamped the sentiment also in Cocoa Bean ink.

I trimmed my stamped panel just 1/8″ shorter on each edge and adhered it onto a white card base over foam tape. I didn’t have the coordinating dies for the anniversary set in time when I created this card, but it would be winderful to even add a few poppies into the field, elevated with foam tape to give more depth to this field too!  I may even add it on after the dies arrive before sending out the card!

I’m totally in love with this year’s anniversary set! The anniversary set is considered a “customer appreciation set,” so it can only be purchased with Reward Points, so it won’t be available for sale by normal means. Reward Points are earned whenever you spend in the store! The February release is right around the corner, so be sure to save up your Reward Points for this special set because it is so worth it! Thanks for joining me today, and be sure to stop by over the next few days as we countdown to the February release.

Hi Keeway! What a beautiful field of flowers! I can see making so many different combinations with the new Anniversary set. I really like how you didn’t have to mask, and still achieve that wonderful field of flowers feel. Thx so much Keeway! 🙂

What awesome colors. Both flowers are beautiful but the red ones stand out to me. I like the shading around the card also.
