My Favorite Things

MFT December Release Countdown Day 1

We are on the last day of the My Favorite Things Release Countdown! Are you excited? Just a few hours left before the full release is available in the MFT Store. Meanwhile, I have more projects to share and today my card features this beautiful new floral stamp set called More Rustic Wildflowers. Yes, that’s right, MORE! So if you loved the original one, Rustic Wildflowers, there’s more  lovelies to add to your collection!

I think may I love this one even more than the first one! I went for a warm color scheme of magentas and peaches. To be specific, I used Cotton Candy, Ripe Raspberry, Peach Bellini, Kraft, Sour Apple, and Gumdrop Green.

I stamped all the various flowers and leaves on the bottom of my white A2 sized cardstock. I also stamped a few extra on the side that I also die cut out with the coordinating Die-namics for dimensional pieces. Using the Sour Apple and diluted with water, I added just a touch of splatter on the card. It’s very light splatter so that I still maintain a very clean look!

On kraft cardstock, I heat embossed the sentiment ‘you make me happy’ from the More Essential Sentiments set in white. I trimmed it down to a thin strip and cut one edge at a slant. I arranged my few pieces of flowers and leaves at the end of the strip and adhered the little bouquet together. And finally, I adhered the strip and bouquet to the stamped card with foam tape.

It’s simple and sweet with just a touch of dimension to give it that extra handmade touch. Be sure to visit the MFT Blog every day during the countdown for more release content and projects from participating design team members. All release product will be available Tuesday, December 5 at 9pm EST in the MFT Store. Just a few hours to go!!

Cheers,

Supplies

Your layout is very impressive, and I love how there is a flower both front and back of the banner.
