My Favorite Things

MFT March Release New Product Launch

We made it! It is finally the My Favorite Things March Release new product launch and the full release is now available in store. It has been such a joy to share all my release cards with you and to end the countdown, I have one more to share with you featuring the new sets Pressed Flowers and Anything-but-Basic Friendship.

I absolutely love the Pressed Flowers stamp and Die-namics combo. I’m one who loves artistic flowers over realistic ones any day. And not to mention, they are way easier to layer the stamping! I stamped a bunch of flowers and die cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Next, with the larger floral shadow stamp, I stamped it in Kraft dye ink onto Natural cardstock in areas where I estimated where my flowers were going to be. The browns added a natural look to this card. For my sentiment, I die cut ‘friend’ using the Die-namics Friends Duo out of white cardstock four times and layered them together. Before adhering it to the card, I stamped the sentiment ‘You’re All Kinds of Amazing’ from the Anything-but-Basic Friendship stamp set in Cornflower dye ink, which matches my flowers.

Once I adhered everything to the card, either directly onto it with liquid glue or with foam tape, I added white acrylic paint splatter across the card. For the little peach flowers, I also added Buttermilk Nuvo drops to the center of each one. I love adding dimension with these drops!

Both these sets are wonderful to work with and I definitely see myself taking them out again and again and again. My flower addiction seems to grow stronger each day!

I hope you enjoyed all the projects throughout the countdown today and look forward to seeing what you create with March Release products! All products are now available in the MFT store!

Happy shopping,

Oh, I love the color palette you chose for that. It kind of perfectly captures that “it’s still winter but you can smell spring coming” feel with all the pale tones. And I agree that the artsy flowers are much easier to layer than the super-detailed ones. I like them both, but when it comes to time it takes, these win, hands down. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful card with us!
