It’s time for the My Favorite Things December Release Countdown! Hopefully you’ve been crafting away the last few holiday cards and getting them send out soon because Christmas is less than 3 weeks away! For this month’s release, we’re slowly moving away from the holidays and today I’ll be sharing a project featuring a darling new set called Over the Moon with Ewe.
Are these fluffy sheeps cute or what?! All the images were stamped from the Over the Moon with Ewe stamp set in Milk Chocolate hybrid ink. I colored them all with copic markers and used a white gel pen for detailing. Then, I die cut all the images out with their coordinating Die-namics.
My background was ink blended with Chipped Sapphire and Tumbled Glass distress oxide inks. I wanted to add lots of stars to the night sky so I did that by adding a very fine white paint splatter. For the ground, I die cut some Grassy Hills out of Gumdrop Green card stock and blended the bottom edge with some Forest Moss distress oxide ink.
The sentiment was heat embossed on Coral Crush card stock, and I trimmed it into 3 sections. Having the separate pieces allowed me to play with the positioning of each line giving them a whimsical look and compliments the leaping sheep.
One sheep made it over the moon! Get it, get it!? Hehehe.
Hope you enjoyed the products featured in today’s post and be sure to also check out the MFT Blog for more inspirations from participating designers and other products introduced today. I’ll be back tomorrow for more of the MFT December Release Countdown!
