Pinkfresh Studio Happy, Merry, and Joyful

Happy Monday! I’m on the Pinkfresh Studio blog and here sharing my last pair of holiday cards for the year! I’ll be sharing a pair of cards today featuring some of the Pinkfresh Studio holiday products release earlier this year.

The first card I’m going to walk you through is the dark blue one with squirrels. This image is from the Squirrel Friends stamp set. I stamped the images in dark brown hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. Then, I used the coordinating Squirrel Friends dies to cut out the images.

Next I ink blended a background with Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire distress oxide inks, splattered with white paint, to create a snowy sky. I die cut this background out with a rectangular frame, and used the same die cut to die cut the frame out of gold glitter card stock. The background is inlaid in the gold glitter frame.  I heat embossed the sentiment from the Squirrel Friends stamp set on the bottom half. I also heat embossed the scarves for each of the squirrels.

One of my favorite Pinkfresh product is their pattern papers, and this year’s Holiday Vibes is perfect for the seasonal cardmaking.  I mounted my framed scene onto a piece of pattern paper with fun foam, and finally added my squirrels last with foam adhesive squares.

My next card follows a similar layout, but with a different selection of products. This time, I created a landscape A2 card using the Skating Bunnies stamp set. I stamped these images in dark brown hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. And then they were cut out using the Skating Bunnies dies.

This background was ink blended with Broken China and Tumbled Glass distress oxide inks. It was then distressed with water, and splattered with white paint. Then, I die cut the background out with a rectangular frame, and again created a gold glitter frame to inlay it in.

To finish off the scene portion, I also stamped various skating marks using the stamps in the Skating Bunnies stamp set. I heat embossed the sentiment in gold.

I selected a green pattern paper from Holiday Vibes this time. I mounted my framed scene right onto it with fun foam in between and lastly added my bunnies and skates with foam adhesive squares. And we’re all done! Now time to get my holiday cards mailed out ASAP!
