Have you seen the Simon Says Stamp You Are Loved Release? The release went live about two weeks ago, and I finally found some time after all the holiday craziness to play with the beautifully written Thinking of You Wafer Die. It’s also been awhile since I last took out my watercolors, so I thought it was the perfect time to do so!
I started by die cutting the words ‘thinking of you‘ out of white card stock four times, and once again out of gold glitter card stock. I stacked up the layers and glued them together. I just love the dimensional look!
I used the Center Cut Kaleidoscope Background Stamp for my background. I heat embossed the pattern in white onto watercolor paper. The embossing wasn’t perfect, but as I was going for a dreamy look, it was not a big deal. So I then went ahead and gave it a soft pink and yellow wash of watercolors, and the embossed pattern resisted beautifully.
I then die cut the watercolor panel out with a large rectangular scallop frame using the Mama Elephant Waverly Creative Cuts. I added a layer of fun foam beneath it, and finally finished it off with some jewel embellishments from Pretty Pink Posh and Studio Katia.
I love how soft and sparkly it came out! Hope you enjoy today’s dose of of inspiration and hope you have a day full of glitter and shine!
