Today I’m sharing with you a card I created highlighting the new Flying with Friends illustrated by Aida Zamora and the Cloudy Day Cover Creative Cuts. If you find these cute elephants familiar, then you’re absolutely right! You may recognize these elephants from the Fly With Me set released last year, and Aida brings us more variations and also a new mouse friend!
I am quite the elephant stamp collector, so I was very excited to see more of these sweet, darling elephants. I stamped several of the images in the set in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them up with my copic markers. Then, I used the coordinating cuts to die cut them out.
I decided to go for a rainbow theme, so I die cut a piece of white card stock with the Cloudy Day Cover and ink blended each cloud a different color. To do so, I used plenty of post it notes to help me cover up each cloud to restrict the ink blending to just the individual cloud layer. Once I was done, I gave it a fun rainbow splatter!
It’s always exciting to get to the final assembly! I stamped a sentiment from the Flying with Friends stamp set on the red cloud, and added all my elephants and mice to the card with foam tape. This new set is the cutest!
