MFT Hits & Highlights: Lots of Love for Shaker Cards

This month the MFT team is taking some time to share some inspiration with some love inspired shaker cards! More recently, I started to open my heart to shaker cards, especially with the introduction of all these shaker friendly MFT products. The products, especially those shaker pouches, have made it so much easier to make these shaker cards!

I ink blended a background packed with lots of pinks! I used the Mini Heart Shaker Window and Frame to create my shaker windows on the background, and die cut the frames out of white card stock. I didn’t realize I ran out of pouches (I need to order more!), so I used acetate to cover up my windows, and craft foam to add dimension for my shaker area. Lots of iridescent pink and clear sequins!

I also stamped images from the SY Joyful Heart Bears set in Milk Chocolate hybrid ink and colored them up with copic markers. These images were then die cut with the coordinating dies.

I then stamped the large sentiment ‘you are loved’ from the 100% Lovable stamp set in the same Milk Chocolate hybrid ink, and several little hearts in the background with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.

I added a ground layer using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics on kraft card stock. Then, added my bear and bees to the card with foam tape. I just want to hug that bear! Such a cute fuzzy guy.
