I’m so excited to start the My Favorite Things February 2019 Release Countdown and it’s a gouda one! Today, I’ll be introducing to you the new Stacey Yacula set called It’s a Mice Time to Celebrate, and showcasing it a birthday card.
This set is too adorable! I stamped three of the mice in Milk Chocolate hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. Then, I die cut the images out with the coordinating dies.
I wanted to create a birthday card for a boy so I used slightly bolder colors than my well loved pastels. I ink blended a matching ombre blue background with distress oxide inks.
I also used the new Birthday Wishes Die-namics filled up the upper half of the card. I love the adorable whimsical handlettering. I die cut the sentiment out of white card stock and added it directly to my card.
I added a kraft stitched floor using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics, and then added the mice on top of that with foam tape. I finished up the card with a few wooden star embellishment.
Hope you enjoyed the products featured in today’s post and be sure to also check out the MFT Blog for more inspirations from participating designers and other products introduced today!
