Hello friends! If you haven’t checked out the Waffle Flower February 2019 Release Blog Hop yet, you should check it out now, especially since there’s still a few more days before the giveaways end. As promised, I’ve got some more projects tos hare with you featuring the release, and today I wanted show you the details of my card featuring the set Peony Dreams by Oana Befort.
Her whimsy botanical illustrations are truly beautiful. This large stamp set is definitely for the lover of florals and coloring. The generous size makes it easy to cover and also easily makes up the whole card. I stamped the image in a black hybrid ink and colored them up with copic markers. Then, I die cut the images with the coordianting dies.
The sentiments have an embossed label look. I picked the ‘hello friend’ in the set, stamped it in the same black hybrid ink, and die cut it out with the coordinating dies. Yup, the dies coordinate with these sentiments as well!
For the background, I die cut a piece of kraft card stock with the Diamond Texture Die. It adds a simple stitched background in a diamond shape. Then, I blended the panel from bottom up with some Brushed Corduroy distress oxide ink.
All images were added to the card with foam tape and added some finishing touches with some white paint splatter. Have a beautiful Saturday and see you back here soon!
So pretty!!
