Hello and welcome to the Mama Elephant February 2019 Stampede! The newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!
Today, it’s going to be all about chicks! Yes, those cute yellow fluffy birds that just melts the heart. Introducing the new Little Chickie Agenda and the Favor Bag Accessory Chick!
As all you agenda fans already know, the Little Agenda is just so fun to play with, whether you’re just packing them in a grid layout, decorating some tags, adding them to your planner, creating a scene, or anything else you think of. The first thing I do (as with all my Little Agenda sets) is stamp and color everything! I stamped every little chickie from the Little Chickie Agenda set in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them up with copic markers. Then, I die cut them all out with the coordinating dies.
Next, I die cut the pieces for the large chickie using the Favor Bag Accessory – Chickie creative cuts. This giant chickie reminded me of the giant rubber duck that visited all over the world. I die cut the chick out of a yellow card stock, and gently blended the edges with Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade distress oxide ink. I also used Tattered Rose distress oxide ink to add a little blush in his cheeks! I added the remaining pieces to his face and body to assemble this giant chickie “playground” for the little agenda chickies!
The background is simple, with a blue ink blended and ink splattered sky and a thin layer of grass at the bottom die cut with the Grassy Trio Creative Cuts [SSS] out of green card stock. I added the FBA chickie to the background and had my little agenda chicks playing around it.
And finally I added a little ‘hi cutie’ sentiment from Label Messages [SSS] that I stamped in the same dark brown hybrid ink and fussy cut to the top right corner with foam tape. These chicks are way too cute and I can’t wait to share more projects with them to you soon!
To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is picking 3 winners to win their choice of stamp set! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the Stampede. You have up to 4 chances to qualify to win!
