Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight: Little Mermaiden Agenda

It’s time to begin the Stamp Highlight series with Mama Elephant! We are starting  the series with the Little Mermaiden Agenda today, and I’ve got plenty joining me in today’s feature project. These mermaidens are as adorable as can be!

I stamped every image in the set in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them up with copic markers. I had a lot of fun being creative with ombre fins and alternated hair colors as I colored each one. Then I used the coordinating creative cuts to die cut them out. I also used some aquatic plant images borrowed from the Marine Friends set.

Another fun product from this month is the Making Waves Cover. I ink blended this underwater panel with distress oxides and then die cut it with the cover. I used the cover again on white card stock, and inlaid thin wave lines onto my ink blended panel. I heat embossed the mermaid sentiment from the Mermaid Kisses stamp set in white.

Using the Landscape Trio creative cuts out of kraft card stock, I created some sand to anchor down the scene. I splattered this thin piece with white and brown watercolor paint for texture.

Now that I have all the pieces done, I can now adhere my scene panel onto an A2 base card. Then I added the colored images and the ground to the card with foam tape. Lots of mermaid kisses packed in here!
