Welcome back to Day 4 of The Greetery Launch Week! It turns out Betsy’s talent runs in the family! Today’s products were originally designed by her daughter Katie and transformed into products by Betsy. Check out her original sketch here. How cool is that? I’m very excited to see what else she comes up with, but for now let’s focus on the first in the series, Katie’s Cuties: Panda and a fun die set called BotaniCuts Bamboo die that is perfect to pair with this panda!
I stamped the panda image in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored him in with copic markers. I love a soft palette so I went for some light warm grays. I then die cut the image out with the coordinating dies.
I die cut the bamboo stems using the BotaniCuts Bamboo die out of Neenah Desert Storm card stock, and the leaves out of Spring Moss card stock that was further enhanced with some copic coloring. The leaves were glued to the stems.
Behind it I went with a simple ink blended background using Bundled Sage and Antique Linen distress oxide inks. I die cut it and framed it off using some simple die cut rectangle frames, backed with a neutral toned pattern paper.
The sentiment is from the Katie’s Cuties Panda stamp set and heat embossed in white onto Spring Moss card stock. I die cut a fishtail banner and added it above the panda with foam tape.
