Wow, I can’t believe how quickly the month is flying by. I’m starting to finish up my last few May projects and beginning on some of my June projects. I have one more Reverse Confetti project for you this month and I thought it would be fun to mix up some new and older release products!
These adorable milkshake sharing pups are from the Ice Cream Social stamp from the recent release. I stamped them in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them with copic markers. They were then die cut with the matching dies.
Rather than use pattern paper, I generally like to create my own pattern paper so that I can match the colors I used more closely. And for this project, I stamped my own background by using the Patterned Hearts stamp set using some ombre stamping technique and my stamp positioner to help me get even stamping across the panel.
I further brought focus to the pups by framing them with the Lace Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts. I used the two largest circles and also die cut them again using a smaller circle die from one of my nesting sets to create frames. The inner circle was ink blended and inlaid back into the frame.
I added the circles to my panel offset to the right side and the colored images on top of that with foam tape. I finished it off with a sentiment from So Many Sentiments heat embossed in white onto kraft card stock. I trimmed it down to a thin strip and added it with foam tape. Smile, laugh, and be happy!
