Hey there and welcome to the FSJ Hello Summer Release Blog Hop with Spellbinders! Fun Stampers Journal (“FSJ”) is a fabulous line of stamps at Spellbinders and their newest release Hello Summer is absolutely adorable!
For today’s hop, I created with the Critternauts and Space Cadet stamp sets. It’s been a little while since I last used rubber stamps and I had forgotten how beautifully crisp and detailed they stamp! I stamped all the images in a black hybrid ink and colored them up with copic markers. Since there were no matching dies for these, I used my ScanNCut to cut these out.
I decided to create a soft galaxy sky through ink blending. I generally splattered it with white gouache paint to add plenty of stars. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Critternauts stamp set in white.
The critters, space rocks, and space ship were added last to the card with foam tape. Aren’t they so cute?!
