Welcome to the Waffle Flower July 2019 New Release Blog Hop! As always, I have lots of projects to share with you with the new release and excited to start sharing them with you!
This first card is one of my favorites and features the new collaboration set with Liz Mytinger called Fun in Sun. These adorable mice are back and in their summer beach attire! I stamped these images in a dark brown hybrid ink, colored them with copic markers, and die cut them out with the matching dies.
To create this fun shaker scene, I also used another fun new die called Cloudscape Panel Die. Each of the layers of clouds are die cut so I can easily just blend each slice and no masking or stenciling is needed!
The bottom portion of the panel was ink blended as sand and since it had border, I was able to easily transform it to a little shaker area. Adding a shiny shaker component for the sand makes it so much more fun!
This month JJ brings her Go Girl set to summer as well! These fab looking girls now have more hair style options, glasses, and other accessories to add more to the girls. The accompanying Sisterhood stamp set brings it all together to make the perfect cards for all the sisters out there!
I used the Speech Bubbles Die to frame the sentiment and also the new Micro Grid Panel 1 die as the background for a simple and modern look. I added some details to my girl with a white gel pen for a more whimsical look.
This month Waffle Flower is releasing its Basic Bundles 2 in addition to its usual monthly release for a total of 7 new stamp sets and 15 new dies. I have more projects to share with you later featuring the Oversized Merry and Bonjour sets in the near feature, but here are some sneak peeks below!
