Welcome back to another day of The Greetery August Release! Today I will be inspiring you with the Bountiful Wreath and Harvest Home stamp and die sets. Both gorgeous set for some autumn cardmaking!
This is my favorite card made for this release! I love it so much I plan to come back to make more of them with different color combos. This card features the Bountiful Wreath stamp set in beautiful inked colors of Hydrangea, Ultraviolet, Rubellite, Buttercream, Sunkissed, and Mocha inks. I used ombre stamping technique to add the gradient look and hints of purple in the leaves.
The sentiment is from the same set and stamped in Andromeda ink and the second line was heat embossed in white onto kraft card stock. I used the Harvest Wreath matching dies to create this setback frame, which was added on top of the stamped image over foam tape. I picked up some purple watercolor and lightly splattered it across the card.
Do you recognize this sweet bird? It is from the Robin & Wren set from the June Release. The bird was stamped with Sand Dunes, Rocky Shore, Mocha, Espresso, and Hydrangea ink. The Hydrangea ink added a little purple shade onto his belly to match the purple hues of the wreath! I added the bird to the bottom of the wreath with some foam tape.
The last step was to add some Nuvo Pale Periwinkle Jewel Drops to the little berries. Now, this is interesting…those berries sure don’t look purple! My jewel drops absorbed some of the Rubellite ink beneath it and morphed into a magenta color. Isn’t that cool?
My next card features the Harvest Home set and it gives me all the country feels! These sweet little country scenes on the leaf is so unique and I’ve never seen anything like it.
With the starry sky stamp image from the set, I heat embossed it in gold. I stamped the sentiment in the bottom right with Milk Chocolate hybrid ink and Abandoned Coral distress oxide ink. The sentiment is made of up three stamps so you can mix and match your colors easily.
I added my little scene to the center of the card with foam tape. And before I call it a day, I added some notched banners to the top left corner for a little extra embellishment. These were die cut using the little notched banner die you can find in the Halfsies Oval and Diamond sets. I stapled them onto the card.
