Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight: Fuzzy Hugs

There’s not a set I don’t love illustrated by Aida Zamora, and this month she came out with the sweetest and cutest set for the winter called Fuzzy Hugs. This set features different types of critters sharing a hug with some dressed in warm winter clothes. I used the sweet little bunnies from the set to create a clean and simple winter scene with lots of sparkle.

I stamped the bunnies in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored the image with copic markers. Then I used the coordinating dies to die cut the image out.

The scene is soft and primarily white. The background was ink blended with Storm Sky and Tumbled Glass distress oxide inks. I die cut a layer of snow by using the Landscape Trio creative cuts out of white glitter card stock and added it to the bottom of the card, and then with the bunnies centered right on it.

I used the large die cut sentiment Warm Fuzzy Hugs to create a four layer thick sentiment die cut out of white card stock and the top layer ink blended with Chipped Sapphire and Stormy Sky distress oxide inks. I then used the Nuvo iridescent drops and applied it all over the top layer to give it an iridescent sparkly glow.

There’s bears, penguins, and birds in the set too. Sounds like I need to make 4 more of this card!
