Today’s Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight features the stamp set called Written in the Snow. I always love a sentiment set with large scripty font, but what makes this one extra special is that it imitates what it could look like if you were to write in the snow. I’ve used as intended in yesterday’s card, but don’t stop there, you can use it any way you want, and I’ve used it in today’s card in the sky!
There’s a few other new products that are being used in this project including the Snowfriends stamp set and Town Creative Cuts. I even brought in Santa from the Little Santa Agenda to add a little magic in the air. The images were all stamped in dark brown hybrid ink and then colored with copic markers. They were then die cut out with their coordinating dies.
The background was ink blended with Stormy Sky and Black Soot distress oxide inks, followed by white ink splatter. The foreground was first created by die cutting the Town Creative Cuts out of white card stock. I then used masking paper to cover the houses and trees, so I can ink blend Tumbled Glass distress oxide downward to add depth to the snow.
I heat embossed in white the large ‘ believe’ from Written in the Snow in the background. The top and bottom pieces of the sentiment were heat embossed in white onto Green Apple card stock and trimmed down to a small rectangle.
I added small sentiments above and below the large ‘believe’ and Santa right beside it with foam tape. Our cute little snowmen making friends were added below with foam tape as well. Believe in the holiday magic!
