I have a special Christmas delivery just for you today! Today’s project features The Greetery’s new set called Christmas Care-A-Van. This set not only stamps an adorable little VW van, but it has little critters I can add as passengers. How cute is that?
My cute little VW van is stamped in Altenew inks Aqualicious, Teal Cave, Evening Gray, Moon Rock, and Lava Rock colors. The presents and strings were stamped in Altenew ink Pinkalicious and Versafine Clair ink Golden Meadow. The critters were stamped in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored with copic markers. These images were then die cut out with their coordinating dies.
I set the scene with pine trees using the Fir & Foliage No. 2 stamp set. The pine trees were stamped in Altenew inks Volcano Lake, Lagoon, and Emerald. The background is ink blended with Broken China and Tumbled Glass distress oxide inks and then again with Peacock Feathers and Broken China over the Frosty Flakes stencil. I absolutely love this stencil!
I stamped the sentiment in black ink right onto the background just above the van. The trees were added around the van, some behind, and some in front with foam adhesive to create a little dimension to the scene.
