The Greetery Holiday Release: Candy Pops and Speed Tagging

It’s the last day of The Greetery Holiday Release product reveals and we’re ending it in spectacular fashion! Today I’ll be showcasing the Candy Pops and Speed Tagging collections. Funny enough, although I do make tons of cards every holiday, my most used item is actually holiday tags! But they are often times overlooked and immediately tossed into the trash after the gifts are opened, so not exactly something I want to spend hours on making. So, the Speed Tagging products were perfect to allow me to still add that handmade touch to my tags, make a lot within a reasonable time, and not feel too depressed about it being thrown away….ha!

The Speed Tagging stamp is a 6″ x 6″ rubber cling stamp and stamps out 7 tags with various borders all in one go. I then use the Speed Tagging die that coordinates with this stamp and die cut out all 7 tags at once! All the tags you see here were done in two passes and I immediately have 14 tags to decorate.

To decorate the tags with little holiday images and sentiments, I used the Speed Tagging Christmas Sentiments stamp set. I stamped out several sentiments and images with this set, also using the Speed Tagging Christmas Details matching die to die cut all the little images. I had so much fun decorating each tag and they are all different!

Here are also some samples of how I love to wrap up my gifts. I like to use kraft wrapping paper and tie a little flourish with some baker’s twine. I used a paint brush to splatter on some white acrylic paint and tie on my tags last. It’s simple, rustic, and works with all my tags!

This next project features the Candy Pops collection and I’ve used the Candy Pops Circle dies to create these cute candy packages! I was so amazed at how easy and cute these came out and look forward to making more of it to give out as little treats during the holidays. So I die cut the frame using Candy Pop Circle die out of white card stock and the extra layer in the ends out of light gray card stock. The frame also has ‘sweet holiday wishes!’ heat embossed in gold on it and this is sentiment is from the Candy Pops Sentiments stamp set.

The Candy Pops Circle comes with the swirl, and I die cut the swirl twice, one out of green glitter card stock and the other old of gold glitter card stock and interlocked them. The other one with the pinwheel design is from the Candy Pops Peppermint Addition. Similar to the swirl, I die cut it twice, this time once out of red glitter card stock and once out of gold glitter card stock. These designs were glued onto the plastic bubble.

The back side is also die cut Tear Away Circle, and it’s an optional add-on to have an opening you can rip open like the example shown in the picture. I think the perforated circle adds a nice professional look to it, as if it the packaging was bought!

I tied each end of the candy with some gold ribbon that I curled up with some scissors. Aren’t they just so cute?
