If you love to share handmade gifts or baked goods, the Mama Elephant Handcrafted Happiness is going to be a perfect set for you! It’s one of those sets that would easily make great labels/tags for your handmade items, or a stamp to the back of an evelope or card, or also a great sentiment for a card to go along a handmade gift. I have used the set to create a card today, but this set is beyond versatile in its use.
I started with the solid image of the roller and whisk and used it to create my own stamped pattern background. I alternated ink colors of Mocha and Sand Dunes dye inks. Then, I used the Framed Tags – Waverly to die cut this scallop stitched shape.
I stamped the cute little bears from Baked with Love in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored them up with copic markers. Then I used the coordinating dies to die cut the images out. I coordinate this scene with the ‘baked with love’ label that I stamped using the Handcrafted Happiness. The image was stamped in ombre with Olive and Moss dye inks, and then trimmed down to small rectangle with a paper trimmer.
I wanted to add a background behind the bears without covering the stamped pattern background, so I used a tag die from Framed Tags – Madison Avenue. To get the extended length of the die, I used a partial die cutting technique. This piece was ink blended with Bundled Sage and Old Paper distress oxide inks, and I tied a twine bow to the top. Lastly, I added a little speech bubble with a heart in the center using the die from Instalove.
