Welcome back to another day of product reveal and inspirations featuring The Greetery’s Confetti Collection! Today I’ll be sharing projects featuring the Pinwheel Party stencil, stamps and die combo and the Cake Pops Collection. As you can always expect from Betsy, she brings us a collection of unique products to create the most fun things!
I’m going to start us off first with the Cake Pops Collection, which includes various 3D dies to create this adorable little cake by decorating a 1″ clear bubble (they come in packs of 10!). Since I love chocolate, I created little chocolate cakes with dark chocolate m&m’s inside. Yum!
I also used the Cake Pops Banner die and mini stamp set to decorate this congratulatory cake, and also used the Cake Pops Stand die to give it a platform to sit on. It is incredibly sturdy! I used some glitter embossing powder on the top of the cakes (which unfortunately is hard to see in the photos), and some acrylic stars as toppings. Sadly I couldn’t pop into Michaels or Joann’s last minute like I normally do when I need something last minute, so these were what I had handy to decorate with!
The next card project is a card using the Pinwheel Party sets and I really, really love this one! The stencil is extremely easy to work with and create such a festive background with just some ink blending, and ya’ll know how much I love to ink blend! I used various distress oxide inks here, just always picking one lighter and one darker shade to work with for each of the pinwheels.
The die comes with this large ‘let’s party!’ halo die cut sentiment and I used white for the halo cut and green for the text and additional string confetti. With a sentiment like this where it is a bit thinner, I prefer to inlay it to give a little extra sturdiness. I propped it up with foam tape to complete the card.
There are much more inspirations from the team and several guests to be seen, so definitely be sure to stop by The Greetery Blog for the full list and also participate in the giveaways by leaving comments on any of the blogs today! We’re just a day away from release tomorrow!
