We have tons of sentiments for our card fronts, but what about something great for stamping inside a birthday card? This month Mama Elephant released a fabulous set called Inside Birthday Messages just for that! Not only is it great to have these to stamp inside of your card, I really love the cute font and heartwarming words for this set.
Just because it’s great to stamp inside the card, doesn’t mean it can’t be used on the card front either! Besides, it would be very boring if simply showed you a stamped message inside a blank card, so I had to have a little extra fun here and make a birthday card with the Little Agenda Spaceship!
I stamped each of the images in hybrid ink and colored it up with copic markers. Our flying saucer had these little circle lights around it so I used Gold Luxe Nuvo Dream Drops on it for extra dimension and shine. I had masked off a triangular area for which the saucer was going to shine light down (and also use the rays stamp image…and forgot!) Above that area, I ink blended a night sky, lightening the blend as I get closer to the ray so the ink to not overlap.
I die cut the background using the large frame from Sweet Feline Creative Cuts. I added the sentiment ‘birthday wishes’ from Occasional Labels to the top and then stamped the Inside Birthday Messages in the top center just below that and above the saucer.
As a final touch, I die cut the stars using the Inlaid Balloons Creative Cuts out of gold glitter card stock. This added such a cute embellishment to the card, and who doesn’t love a little glitter!? Hope you enjoy today’s inspiration and see you next time! Have a lovely week.
