Today we’re highlighting the Creative Cuts called Stacked Circles. This is a great staple die set if you don’t have one yet! There are stitching inside and outside of the circles and the large scallop circles make great frames and shaped cards.
I picked out the 4th largest stitched circle to create a fun frame for my cards today and to have an excuse to take out these adorable Rowdy Raccoons to play! It’s been a long time since I’ve colored up this set and honestly I’m surprised I don’t see them more often because they are the cutest!
I used the circle die to cut my white A2 sized panel three times to create the shape of the frame and then I used the circle again out of masking paper so I can create a coordinated ink blended background for this frame. I inkblended the circles with Worn Lipstick and Broken China distress oxide inks witht he circles overlapping like a vend diagram.
I added a layer of grass that I die cut using the grass die from Slim Window Dressing CC and added my raccoons above it. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the bottom left corner and colored the ‘giddy up’ in matching colors to my images and background. I’m rootin’ tootin’ for ya to have a great day!
