The new Mama Elephant set called Let It Snow is beyond adorable! I love snowmen sets during the holidays. They are easy to work with, I can always make pretty snowy backgrounds with it, and they are simply just the cutest!
I especially love this set with its scene building elements and the flowy scarves on these snowmen are just so fun! I stamped and colored up these images with copic markers and used a white gel pen for some accents. Then, I used the coordinating dies to die cut all the images out.
I created an ink blended background with Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers, and Old Paper distress oxide inks. I generously gave it lots of small and large white ink splatters with white acrylic paint.
I added a couple layers of stitched snowy slopes using the Landscape Trio CC and lightly ink blended the edge of these with the Broken China distress oxide inks. I used the matching dies to die cut out the large sentiment ‘let it snow’ in white and positioned it in the top center, between the trees. Then, I added the remaining images to my scene with foam squares.
