This month Mama Elephant released several new Aida Zamora illustrated sets and the one I’m showcasing today is called Santa Baby. There were so many cute images in this set, it was difficult to pick just a few to work with, but I wanted to utilize as many as I could to tell a story!
My idea was perfect to create a flipbook style storytelling so I used the Mega Flipper CC to help me here! I stamped and colored all my images from Santa Baby in copic markers and used the matching dies to die cut each of the images out.
Each of the cards in the flipper will have its own piece of the story, so after die cutting each panel in a different color, I also cut smaller pieces 2″ x 3″ and ink blended mini backgrounds. I gathered sentiments from both Santa Baby and Best Gift Ever stamp sets, and heat embossed them onto each card in white.
Assembly of the mega flipper was pretty easy and I referred back to the video on the Mama Elephant Youtube channel to remind myself how to do it. I used a fun pattern paper I found in my scrap bin and die cut that with a scallop frame from Framed Tags – Waverly CC. After it was all glued down, I included a gift card for the recipient! Isn’t it such a fun card? Hope you like it!
Oh my goodness, Keeway, this is super cute! Love it! 💜
