Welcome back to Day 2 of The Greetery Merry Makings Meet & Greet!
I don’t know about you, but I absolutely loved the Pinwheel Party stamp, stencil, and die bundle, so I was very excited to work with this holiday version called Snowflake Soiree! Just like the Pinwheel Party, there are four stencils that work together to create this beautiful multi-colored snowflake border.
For my snowflakes, I blended Blueprint Sketch, Broken China, Wilted Violet, and Shaded Lilac distress oxide colors. The border covers half the card so I repeated it again for the other side to give it full coverage.
I really love the Written in Ribbons Holiday set, so I used it that set to stamp out the ‘Peace’ word and die cut it out. I added it to the center with foam tape. I also added iridescent white jewels to the center of each snowflake. Oh, how it sparkles in person!
This next card showcases the Destination: North Pole set! This set coordinates can be used with the previously released Destination Map dies or stencils. Here I used the Destination Waterfront Map die out of white card stock and ink blended each section of the map. In the snowy areas, I also used the small snowflake stamp from the Snowflake Soiree stamp set to add a little frosty details to it.
All the images that are used across the map is part of the Destination: North Pole set. There are so many cute images in this set and I didn’t even have enough space to pack it into this card, so imagine all the possibilities! I scattered the images to various part of the card and added them on with foam squares.
I also added some white acrylic paint splatter to really enhance the snowy cold weather showcased here! I had a lot of fun making this card.
Hope you enjoyed all the inspiration today. If you haven’t already, stop on by the Greetery Blog for more details and inspiration. You can also find more projects from my fellow team members listed below:
