Yay! We got a new ‘Me and My’ stamp set this month! I love these series of stamps, especially my favorite one Me and My Yeti for my holiday cardmaking. The newest set is called Me and My Dinosaur and its got the cutest Flinstones vibe!
You know what is really cool? This new Rolling Waves Cover! I can definitely see myself bringing out this cover frequently for all my scenes. I may have used it here for rolling grassy hills, but it can definitely be used as waves for underwater scenes! With some simple masking of the frames, I ink blended the waves area with Rustic Wilderness and Bundled Sage distress oxide inks.
Time to color the dinosaurs! I love how playful the little humans are in this stamp set. I stamped them all in a dark brown hybrid ink and used copic markers to color them. I also added a few extra little dinosaurs from Little Agenda Dino to the scene as well.
Assembling this scene was just delightful and fun! Sure brings me back good memories when I watched Flinstones on TV. I also love this sentiment ‘you & me we go a long way back’. Absolutely perfect to send this to a long time friend!
