Happy Friday!! It’s been such a long week and I’m totally blaming Daying Savings Time for it! But I’m excited it’s the beginning of the weekend now and I can enjoy some downtime and relax with some crafting. Today, I wanted to share with you another Mama Elephant project featuring the stamp set Ninja Sayings. If you are getting the Little Ninja Agenda or any other ninja themed set, this sentiment set is a total must!
When I started coloring the the Little Ninja Agenda images for this card, I really want to break free from the classic black or dark colored clothing. I tried googling for ideas where I found the Lego Ninjago movie, which inspired the colors of my ninjas.
I wanted to give a space for each color variant of my ninjas so I reached for the Four Window Cover CC and die cut the frame out of brown card stock. Lots of ink blending done on the background. I have a cityline cut using the Slim Film City CC and for the background I used this Sunny Day Stencil to create the pattern. Each quadrant had one of the four colors that my ninjas were.
Last, but not least, we gotta add some fun sentiments! I picked out a couple from Ninja Sayings and heat embossed it on kraft card stock. Then, I die cut out the sentiment using the Let’s Chat CC speech bubbles. Everything’s now ready for assembly and I’ve put it all together with foam tape and adhesive.
