Hello friends! Today I’m introducing to you the latest Greetery release called Nouveau Notes. This beautiful collection is all about designing your own stationery and even a box to put it all together as a sweet little handmade gift. I had so much creating today’s projects and hope you enjoy the inspiration! Let’s get started.
I created a set of A2 cards using several of the modern, geometric themed products in this month’s release. I started with the Deco Triangles Stencil, a layered stencil set, to create this fun ink blended background. I only used 3 of the 5 stencils in this set, using Tattered Rose, Peacock Feathers, and Salvaged Patina distress oxide inks. I repeated this 3 times so I had enough DIY pattern paper for 2 A2 sized cards and my stationary box.
Next, we need lots of florals! I die cut and stamped up all images of the Floral Delicacy Stamp Set several times as I’ll be needing them for my second project later. I used some new Altenew inks I recently bought for these flowers: Canyon Clay, Burnt Red, Marshland, and Sea Forest.
For the card, I die cut the largest Deco Frames Die out gold mirror card stock. I added this in front of my geometric ink blended panel and arranged a floral bouquet in the bottom left corner. For the sentiment, I reached for the Opposites Attract Stamp Set. These sentiments were also die cut with the Opposites Attract Die and Opposites Attract Script Die.
Of course we can’t forget about our matching box created using the Stationery Box Die! The body of the box was die cut out of white card stock, and with some simple masking, I again ink blended some corners in matching corners. The box flap was die cut out of the geometric ink blended piece I created earlier. I used the Handmade Labels Stamp Set to decorate it along with a few more floral images from the Floral Delicacy Stamp Set. I assembled it together and tucked in my cards in the box.
So what if you wanted to create a smaller Note Card set? Well, check out the new Deco Note Card Die and Crimped Note Card Die! I created a mini note card set in this next project using the Crimped Note Card Die, die cutting the folded card and the inside square out of white card stock.
The inside square when then masked and ink blended with Salvaged Patina distress oxide ink and heat embossed with a sentiment from Everyday Labels Stamp Set in white. I cut a square size just between the card base and my crimped inner square for layering, and decorated each note card with some more floral images from Floral Delicacy Stamp Set. Aren’t these so cute?
Modifying the die cut from Stationery Box Die is super easy! I simply used a paper trimmer to shorten the box such that it was 4″ in height and did not bother adjusting the width. You don’t need to do any modifying to the flap. I assembled it together, decorated the box with more flowers and jewels to complete the matching look! Aren’t these so cute?
The release will be available in the shop tomorrow Friday, August 13th at 10am EDT! For more information and inspiration of the Nouveau Notes Collection check out the Greetery blog along with the rest of the design team linked below.
