Hello again and welcome back to the last day of the Clearly Besotted September Release Countdown! That also means today is release day and all the awesomeness of this release will be available in the Clearly Besotted store and at Simon Says Stamp at 12pm PST. Before you fill up your shopping carts, I have one more card inspiration for you showcasing the Mythical Monsters stamp set.
This was such a cute set and I immediately wanted to used the yetis for my first winter card of the year! I stamped them all in a dark brown hybrid ink, colored them up with copic markers and used my ScanNCut to cut out all the images.
For my card layout, I knew I wanted to create a window so I die cut a piece of A2 white card stock with a large oval die from Nesting Ovals Die. For some interest, I gently ink blended in the top corners with Salvaged Patina distress oxide over a Frosty Flakes Stencil. For my background layer, I ink blended with Faded Jeans, Shaded Lilac and Milled Lavendar distress oxide inks.
I added a few die cut clouds that I happened to have layout around from Matchbox Builder CC to the sky. After assembling the layers of my card I decided the best way to display the sentiment is across the top and I decided to use the Holiday Word Banners to complete the card!
